God’s Final Warning… addressing the Shepherds

Posted by Anne Elizabeth on March 17, 2009

Jeremiah 23:1-2; 25: 32-38

Woe to the shepherds who destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture!” says the LORD. 2 Therefore thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning the shepherds who care for my people: “You have scattered my flock, and have driven them away, and you have not attended to them. Behold, I will attend to you for your evil doings, says the LORD.

(Those who teach Contraception is ‘okay’ and not morally evil.  Those who have participated in the ordination of Women.  Those who seek their own vain glory and no longer preach the Gospel of Christ.  Those who have fallen prey to the Same-Sex agenda and encouraged unions.  Those who do not see Embryonic Stem Cell Research as a GRAVE moral sin, and have not spoken out against Invetro Fertilization or the practice of Snowflake Babies.  Those who have supported the Murder of the Unborn in the name of freedom or justice because a woman has a right to choose… to choose what?  To murder her child.)

32 “Thus says the LORD of hosts: Behold, evil is going forth from nation to nation, and a great tempest is stirring from the farthest parts of the earth!

33 “And those slain by the LORD on that day shall extend from one end of the earth to the other. They shall not be lamented, or gathered, or buried; they shall be dung on the surface of the ground.

34 “Wail, you shepherds, and cry, and roll in ashes, you lords of the flock, for the days of your slaughter and dispersion have come, and you shall fall like choice rams.

35 No refuge will remain for the shepherds, nor escape for the lords of the flock. 36 Hark, the cry of the shepherds, and the wail of the lords of the flock! For the LORD is despoiling their pasture, 37 and the peaceful folds are devastated, because of the fierce anger of the LORD.

38 Like a lion he has left his covert, for their land has become a waste because of the sword of the oppressor, and because of his fierce anger.”

36 It became an ambush against the sanctuary, an evil adversary of Israel continually. 37 On every side of the sanctuary they shed innocent blood; they even defiled the sanctuary…

39 Her sanctuary became desolate as a desert; her feasts were turned into mourning, her sabbaths into a reproach, her honor into contempt. 40 Her dishonor now grew as great as her glory; her exaltation was turned into mourning.

44 And the king sent letters by messengers to Jerusalem and the cities of Judah; he directed them to follow customs strange to the land,

45 to forbid burnt offerings and sacrifices and drink offerings in the sanctuary, to profane sabbaths and feasts, 46 to defile the sanctuary and the priests,

THE SPIRITUAL TSUNAMI

One morning in December of 2004, I awoke before the rest of my family while we were on a concert tour. A voice spoke within my heart saying that a spiritual earthquake occurred 200 years ago in what is known as the French Revolution. This unleashed a spiritual tsunami which raced through the world and brought its devastation to a peak around 2005 [see my writing Persecution! (Spiritual Tsunami) ]. That wave is now receding and leaving in its wake chaos.

To be honest, I didn’t even know what the French Revolution was. I do now. There was a period called “The Enlightenment” in which philosophical principles began to emerge, which viewed the world entirely from a perspective of human reason, rather than reason enlightened by faith. This culminated during the French Revolution with a violent rejection of religion and a formal split between the Church and State. Churches were ransacked and many priests and religious were put to death. The calendar was altered and some Feast days were outlawed, including Sunday. Napoleon, who defeated the papal army, took the Holy Father prisoner and in a moment of supreme arrogance, crowned himself emperor. ~Mark Mallet: Revolution! [emphasis added]

47 to build altars and sacred precincts and shrines for idols, to sacrifice swine and unclean animals, 48 and to leave their sons uncircumcised. They were to make themselves abominable by everything unclean and profane, 49 so that they should forget the law and change all the ordinances. 50 “And whoever does not obey the command of the king shall die.” ~ 1 Mac 1: 36-40, 44-50

10 And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God.

11 And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death. 12Rejoice then, O heaven and you that dwell therein! But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath, because he knows that his time is short!” ~Rev 12:10-12

22(Jesus: ) And if those days had not been shortened, no human being would be saved; but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened. ~Mt 24:22
