Lenten Reflections Week 4…

Posted by Anne Elizabeth on March 26, 2017

[Brothers and Sisters] …we are ambassadors for Christ, as if God were appealing through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.  For our sake He made Him to be sin who did not know sin, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Working together, then, we appeal to you not to receive the grace of God in vain.  For He says: “In an acceptable time I heard you, and on the day of salvation I helped you.”

Behold, now is a very acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

Week 4: Are You Struggling? Monday, March 27th… Click on the title for today’s reflection.

…all this is merely “sound and fury signifying nothing”.  God’s plan has NOT CHANGED… He has won the victory, count on it!…

My dear apostles, you remain faithful to Me and I guide you through every change.

Can it be said that the Lord devised a plan for you yesterday and again today but that the Lord will fail to make His plan for tomorrow known to you?

Will I hide My needs from you? Will I abandon the work and the workers? You know that this will never happen~Excerpt, Monthly Message, March 2012; emphasis added.

But we MUST keep our perspective.  Jesus said of these times…

And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars see that you are not alarmed;  for this MUST TAKE PLACE, but THE END IS NOT YET.  For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and their will be FAMINES and EARTHQUAKES in various places all this is but the beginning of the birth-pangs. ~Mt 24: 6-8

Now, if the God of this Universe KNEW that all this would take place, isn’t it JUST POSSIBLE that He also KNOWS what His Children will endure… Read More

My Father’s House!…

Mid week… Kind of like a CHECK-UP: Unhappy Saints… Wednesday, March 29th…

“Two years before, Jesus had shaken  up the whole city [of Jerusalem] at the beginning of His public ministry, when He drove out the money changers from the Temple…with that dramatic opening to His work, echoing the words of Jeremiah, everyone was wondering what this Prophet from Nazareth would do now that He was back in Jerusalem.” ~Fr Clifford Stevens, Homily, 4th Sunday of Lent.

[Update: If you have already read this post, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND reading : The Great Gift : for more encouragement as you continue your journey during these last two weeks of Lent.  If you haven’t yet read this post, no worries! The link to The Great Gift will also be at the end of this post.] 🙂

It’s just too bad that those in Jesus’ time, much like our present time, were looking only for the DIRECT results.  It would be those results that might measure the success of Him who was preaching.  Why?  Because they could not see with the Eyes of God… Read More

Rest assured, you will all be in my prayers!  I also ask that you keep me in yours!

May God Bless each and every one of YOU with abundant GRACES as we begin our 40 Days in the Desert leading up to our Crucifixion and Resurrection as we follow our Lord into His Glory!

Sheer madnessEver notice how the world seems to be entering into sheer madness? Or as the Apostle Paul wrote to the Thessalonians: For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; … The coming of the lawless one by the activity of satan will be with all power and with pretended signs and wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are to perish, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. Therefore God sends upon them a strong delusion, to make them believe what is false, so that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
