I rejoice in my sufferings... Col 1:24

Updated: 1/26/2012

Recently I had the privilege of suffering for the Kingdom with a sudden onset of the flu, which, sufficed to say, knocked me down for a good five days.  But it was worth it!  To be able to see the effects of my sufferings as I joined it with Christ’s:

“Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I complete what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions for the sake of His body, that is, the church…” ~Col 1:24

Our world is rapidly declining into moral relativism and what is evil is considered good.  But at the same time, those hearts that would be changed are changing and becoming aware of this great deception of the evil one.  They’re beginning to stand up and speak out against this present evil as minds slowly shift for the days immediately ahead.

On that note, I repeat a previous post and join it with another who speaks with the voice of authority – or rather, joins the voice of authority that shouts from the rooftop!

Note: NOT the end of the world is at hand, but God’s justice for our sins in this increasingly perverse age that we are in, is at hand.

Morning Prayer: Week III

Reading : 1 Peter 4: 8-11a

Let your love for one another be constant, for love covers a multitude of sins.  Be mutually hospitable without complaining.  As generous distributors of God’s manifold grace, put your gifts at the service of one another, each in the measure he has received.  The one who serves is to do it with the strength provided by GodThus, in all of you, God is glorified through Jesus Christ.

Evening Prayer: Week III

Reading: 1 Peter 3: 8-12

All of you should be like-minded, sympathetic, loving toward one another, kindly disposed, and humble.  Do not return evil for evil or insult for insultReturn a blessing instead.  This you have been called to do, that you may receive a blessing as your inheritance.

“He who cares for life and wants to see prosperous days must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from uttering deceit.  He must turn from evil and do good, seek peace and follow after it, because the Lord has eyes for the just and ears for their cry; but against evildoers the Lord sets His face (cf. Ps 34: 12-16).

WHEN this ministry first began, the Lord made it clear to me in a gentle but firm way that I was not to be shy in “blowing the trumpet.” This was confirmed by a Scripture:

The word of the LORD came to me: Son of man, speak to your people and tell them: When I bring the sword against a land… and the sentinel sees the sword coming against the land, he should blow the trumpet to warn the people…

And here is MY Repeat:

As We Know It Comes Crashing Down

The world is rapidly changing, and in the blink of an eye, all we know will be no more.  Is this a reason to fear?  If you haven’t God as your CENTER, then ‘yes’ there is fear.  But for those who live with God’s LOVE in their hearts, the future does not worry us, for only in the present can we effect CHANGE. Thus the FUTURE is strictly God’s domain…  Continue…
