Revisit Continues…The Shortened Days

Posted by Anne Elizabeth on November 17, 2010

This past Sunday, a group of friends and I gathered for a game of Boggle which we played with another friend of ours living in Georgia.  We were able to do this thanks to a detachable video camera and an online communication tool.  It was a wonderful time of fellowship and fun!

But in-between our games, I had the opportunity to visit Mark’s site and noticed that, once again, our writings were mirroring one another – a great confirmation that what we both heard is True AND coming from the Lord Himself.

I highly recommend reading his blog entitled: So Little Time Left

As usual, Mark gives an even clearer picture of the things at hand, much clearer than I ever could.  After you’ve read Mark’s blog, then I encourage you to re-read The Shortened Days, found on my blog.  Dark times ARE coming and ARE here, but THEY ARE NOT TO BE FEARED as long as YOU HOLD TIGHT TO CHRIST.

On that note, let us take a look at this month’s Monthly Message:

November, 2010

[Excerpts. EMPHASIS Added]

Dearest apostle, be assured of My good will toward you. At times, I see that you forget that you have a beloved and constant friend. I am a friend who never finds you tiresome or difficult. I am with you during your calm periods and during your storms. I find you a precious companion regardless of your disposition in any moment.

See?  Even when we are unsure, thrown into doubt by our own weaknesses, lash out in anger due to stress and short-sightedness, GOD does NOT ABANDON US!

We fit together. When you are with Me, you are with the one who completely understands you and completely loves you. MY LOVE  for you is SYMPATHETIC, UNDERSTANDING, and UNCHANGEABLE. My love for you will weather any strain or pain, any mistake or any emotional storm you experience. I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU. I will always love you and welcome you in My heart. Your answers and your clarity will be found with Me.

No matter our faults and failings…God IS greater than all that!  He understands that we are weak and apt to fall, but as long as we TURN TO HIM with a HUMBLE HEART, He will not spurn but instead GRACE that heart with strength and perseverance to hold to the TRUTH that exists ONLY in the LOVE of Christ.

It is not possible that a beloved apostle will be rejected. DO NOT THINK THAT I IGNORE YOUR PAIN OR THAT YOUR PAIN LEAVES ME INDIFFERENT. You, dear apostle, have shown Me that you are interested in My pain which will always involve the pain of humanity. This moves My heart to the greatest generosity. I answer your prayers in a mystical way. Some day you will see that I answered your prayers in the most beneficial way possible, given the intention. Many unnecessary calamities are avoided because of prayer.

Imagine the wonderment when we receive the privilege to view the results of our service at the day of judgment.  I myself am often impatient when wondering – am I doing any good?  My impatience, I’m afraid, almost always gets the better of me from time to time.  But it is in my weakness that God is made ever stronger (cf. 2 Cor 12:9), and it is my weakness that I can truly come before the Lord in Humility.

BELIEVE IN YOUR PRAYERS. BELIEVE IN MY MERCIFUL PRESENCE WITH YOU. BELIEVE IN THE IMPACT OF YOUR SERVICE and BELIEVE IN THE GRATITUDE I HAVE FOR YOU, even when you do not feel it.

Believe…so simple…so easy to do…why then do people refuse the gift of Faith?

“Pray for all sinners.”

“Wanting to test her mental abilities, I asked, ‘do you know what a sinner is?’  Without hesitation she replied, ‘Certainly Monsieur, a sinner is one who loves evil’.  ~ Song of Bernadette, ©1943

14 We know that the law is spiritual; but I am carnal, sold under sin. 15 I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate…19 For I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I do. 20 Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I that do it, but sin which dwells within me. ~St Paul, Romans 7: 12-15, 19-20
