Yesterday we celebrated the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and today we celebrate the Solemnity of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
For my part, I am appalled at the lack of time I’ve had recently to post anything new. But I was espcially frustrated when I didn’t even have time to post for yesterday’s feast! I mean, after all, is not this site dedicated to the Sacred Heart AS WELL AS to the Immaculate Heart?
YES, IT IS!
So, to make up for all that, I have taken the opportunity, between laundry loads, to sit down a type something I haven’t typed in a long while – A Personal Reflection. So here goes…
Change is happening rather quickly. Agendas are being pushed through congress with very little concern about what the majority of people want. Our Country is quickly becoming something between a dictatorship and communist regime.
Persecution is imminent especially with the Hate Crime Legislation placing restrictions on what pastors and priests can say from the pulpit – punishable by law. Hey does that sound familiar…Connecticut Legislation?
So where does that leave us on this wonderful day? Wondering when and how soon, can we hold fast to the faith, how many will be lost? I believe the answers to those questions might be: Soon, if you Keep your Eye’s on Jesus He will help us through, and there will be – as there has already been – those who will “go with the flow” and not pay attention to the “approaching rapids” and somehow close their eyes and take a deep breath with the thoughts “maybe I’ll wake up okay?”
Those who are already in The Bastion are prepared and we pray daily for the graces necessary to see the deception so blantent in this day. But for those who are unawares, we pray especially for their salvation – for their eternal souls.
Happy Solemnity of the Immaculate Heart! Her Immaculate Heart WILL triumph with her Eternal Son’s Sacred Heart right at her side. BELIEVE. PRAY, PRAY, PRAY!
